Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) in New York. You will learn to bathe and style dogs, participate in free Paragon School of Pet Grooming training, and receive a $600+ tool kit upon enrollment. No prior grooming experience required, but a 18+ age and ability to pass screening are expected.

Responsibilities include grooming tasks, customer service with neighbors, and maintaining a clean, safe grooming area while supporting the store team as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Delighting neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
• Learning and demonstrating skills through the online distance program via Paragon School of Pet Grooming.
• Ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
