Meijer Inc. is hiring for a Store Manager to lead daily operations across departments, mentor staff, and drive customer service excellence. You will plan staffing, oversee hiring, and implement strategies to meet sales goals while controlling shrink and maintaining store standards.

The role emphasizes developing team members, promoting a safe work environment, and ensuring a positive company image through courteous, efficient service during peak hours and throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; customer service and product flow experience helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to team members and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve customer service and sales.
• Manage staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Promote career development and promotion decisions.
