Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas and customer service flow helpful.
• Clear and precise direction to team members; conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information.
• Demonstrated leadership in safe, efficient operations; required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentors and coaches team to improve customer service and sales.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning and identifies development needs.
• Documents disciplinary actions and handles discharge recommendations.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and reducing shrink.
• Models fast, friendly customer service and aligns with Meijer initiatives.
• Ensures staff training and adherence to Meijer standards.
• Maintains safety and a positive work environment.
