• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and excellent service for customers.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and train others to do the same.
