Sprouts Farmers Market in Copperfield, TX is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help lead one of our busiest store teams. You will assist the Grocery Manager with scheduling, training, inventory control, and upholding safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

You’ll drive sales, maintain product quality, coordinate merchandising, and develop a collaborative team that thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to stand/walk long hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to lead a team and take direction.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and manage staff while tracking margins and sales.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills; multitasking ability.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform repetitive movements as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products, service, and in-store experience for customers.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload deliveries and ensure safety guidelines are followed across the department.
• Support a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive, customer-focused culture.
