Responsibilities

• Engage customers to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience, including checkout excellence.
• Assign daily tasks and communicate clear expectations to team members.
• Mentor and coach staff to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Support training of new teammates and cross-train high-potential talent.
• Assist leadership with department scheduling to maximize engagement and store performance.
• Ensure product freshness through proper rotation and dating controls.
• Guide the team on食品 safety standards and safe working practices.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product displays when applicable.
• Foster Meijer culture and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
• Operate a register and cash handling when needed and support inventory activities.
