The ideal candidate should have around 1 year of retail experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for grocery retail, with fluency in Microsoft Office applications and cash handling experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience desirable.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Experience balancing cash/tills is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for grocery retail and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Actively live Centra brand-values (Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, Community-Based).
• Set, monitor and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Store Manager.
• Participate in training and development initiatives and performance assessments.
• Merchandise and present the store to the highest standard per planograms and guidelines.
• Implement planograms and ensure correct range in store.
• Gain competence with supply procedures: ordering, delivery, stock rotation and control.
• Manage departments assigned to you.
• Engage with new initiatives and new ways of working.
