The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a focus on food safety. You will manage schedules, recruit staff, and support store performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with 1 year managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outgoing and friendly attitude with a customer focus.
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and meet financial goals.
• Food safety certification and knowledge of safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and move boxes up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are handled properly, rotated for freshness, and date controls performed.
• Control costs by monitoring operations to increase profitability and manage labor costs.
• Assist in store prep for inventory counts.
• Oversee unloading of trucks and verify deliveries against invoices and notes shortages.
• Manage ordering, sanitation, back-room inventory, and department safety.
• Coach and develop team members and conduct performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings.
• Recruit, hire and promote/transfer decisions with Store Manager.
• Address team member concerns and document corrective actions.
• Adjust schedules and staffing levels to maximize productivity.
• Communicate standards, policy changes, and product knowledge.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and service.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
