The candidate will oversee the 3rd shift operation and coordinate with store leadership to meet department goals while upholding company policies and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Should have at least three years experience working in the supermarket industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for dealing with customers, employees and vendors.
• Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, gross margins, percentages, proportions, ratios, volume to apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Ability to verify vendor invoices, counts, and to complete required accounting reports including inventory and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all facets of the grocery department to maximize sales, productivity and profits.
• Supervise and train grocery department personnel to align with department needs and maintain positive employee relations.
• Ensure proper ordering and allocation of merchandise to maintain in-stock and in-code positions.
• Insure accurate billing and pricing of all incoming products.
• Oversee the entire 3rd shift operation and productivity of all 3rd shift associates.
