Job summary

Redner's Markets, Inc. is seeking a Night Crew Leader to supervise the grocery department during the overnight shift. You will manage pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise while ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.

You will train and coordinate night crew staff, assign tasks, monitor productivity, and safeguard product integrity. Strong communication, physical endurance, and reliable transportation are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Adequate math skills to enable accurate counting of merchandise.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Dexterity to lift and stock merchandise.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs for a portion of the shift.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to stores.
• Must be able to stand upright for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and maintain pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department during overnight hours.
• Assist with training of new night crew leaders and staff.
• Delegate tasks to night crew and monitor productivity and performance.
• Monitor pricing and stocking procedures for accuracy and rotation.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation per company policy and safety standards.
• Observe security and report any concerns to management and Loss Prevention.
• Promote positive employee relations and provide coaching to staff.
• Enforce department policies and report disciplinary issues to management.
• Assist with unloading, stocking, and presenting merchandise as needed.
