Job summary

Redner's Markets, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to oversee pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise in the grocery departments.

The role includes assisting with training of night crew, ordering merchandise to maintain inventory, and ensuring presentation aligns with company policy. You will delegate tasks, monitor productivity, and uphold safety and security standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Adequate math skills to enable accurate counting of merchandise.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Dexterity of hands to enable lifting and stocking of merchandise.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and maintain pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise in grocery departments.
• Assist with training of new night crew leaders and all new night crew employees.
• Assist with ordering merchandise to maintain inventory and minimize out of stocks.
• Oversee department presentation and ensure compliance with company policy.
• Delegate tasks to night crew and monitor productivity and performance.
• Monitor pricing accuracy, stock rotation and stocking procedures.
• Ensure housekeeping and sanitation compliance.
• Follow safety policies and security standards, report concerns to management.
• Maintain positive employee relations and enforce department policies.
• Notify management of personnel issues requiring disciplinary action.
• Assist with unloading, stocking, blocking and general cleanup.
