Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers, including checkout excellence.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach colleagues to meet sales goals and Meijer standards.
• Help train new team members and cross-train talent to boost productivity.
• Assist leadership in creating department schedules for engagement and service.
• Monitor product rotation and dating to ensure freshness and compliance.
• Guide safety and food safety standards in the store environment.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and product displays where applicable.
• Foster Meijer culture with diversity, equity, and inclusion in daily work.
