Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; 2–3 years retail clerk experience preferred.
• Attainment of local/state food handling certifications, if applicable.
• Previous lead experience in grocery store environment preferred.
• Ability and willingness to obtain required certifications in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Authorize refunds/overrides when manager on duty; handle cash and deposits.
• Maintain cash accountability and store security practices.
• Manage store in Manager/Asst Manager absence.
• Train assigned employees as directed by Store Manager/Asst Manager.
• Train staff in stocking, rotation, presentation and safe food handling.
