Job summary

ReaderLink, based in Oak Brook, IL, seeks an Account Representative to manage account activity including inventory, item setup, SKU management, and sales orders, ensuring timely responses to account requests. You will support the Director of Sales, coordinate with ReaderLink distribution centers and field staff, analyze sales trends, and develop reporting metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects/requests.
• Excellent interpersonal skills - in-person, phone, email, presentations, etc.
• Fast learner, team player, and aggressive problem solver.
• Desire to advance and grow within the company.
• Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
• Ability to communicate complicated information to others.
• The work performed is in an office environment.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Sales, in the day-to-day operation of key customer account activities.
• Act as key customer liaison - ensuring that outstanding service is given to the customers, meeting each individual customer's needs.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of customer ordering, scheduling, and tracking.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding: product, service, general questions, etc.
• Coordinate all efforts and communicate constantly with the Readerlink distribution centers and our field service staff.
• Analyze prior and current sales trends and work to develop additional meaningful reporting metrics.
• Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.
