Job summary

Harris Teeter in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Grocery Department Supervisor to assist in managing and directing a team of up to 25 associates. This role may also oversee the HBC/GM Department and requires strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first approach.

The position involves interviewing and training staff, planning and directing work, and assisting in performance assessments. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of related experience, and be at least 18 years

High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to three years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

Assist to manage and supervise up to 25 associates in the Grocery Department.
May also be assigned responsibility for the HBC/GM Department.
Interviewing and training associates.
Planning, assigning, and directing work; assist in appraising performance.
Rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
