Food Lion in Concord, NC seeks a Grocery Department Manager to lead store operations and drive sales and service excellence. You will hire, train and develop department associates while maintaining safety, scheduling and inventory controls.

Responsibilities include assuring quality, variety and appearance of groceries, monitoring budgets, coaching performance, and delivering a positive shopping experience aligned with Food Lion's guiding principles.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of store operations preferred.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be accredited or able to obtain Certification as Food Safety Manager within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Grocery Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and conduct performance appraisals.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership and motivation aligned with Food Lion values and strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure customer service excellence and a positive shopping experience.
