Responsibilities

• Assist Dept Manager in organizing work, staffing and training associates to provide prompt, courteous service.
• Respond to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests and questions professionally.
• Use CAO to manage ordering and balance on hand in the Dept Manager’s absence.
• Price, display and signage maintenance, ensuring proper space, rotation and quality.
• Promote merchandising techniques, customer service, product presentation and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, dress code, sanitation and safety standards.
• Support input on department budgets, goals and results.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to company standards; keep areas clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with associates and customers to foster a positive impression.
• Perform duties as assigned.
