Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Grocery Department operations with focus on service, sales, and readiness.
• Provide friendly, prompt, knowledgeable customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front-faced, and merchandised to company standards.
• Assist with executing planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising.
• Support with inventory management, ordering, rotation, and backroom organization.
• Help monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and operational standards.
• Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and developing associates while fostering a positive team environment.
• Perform department duties as needed and lead in the Grocery Manager’s absence.
