You will assist the Grocery Manager with department merchandising, inventory control, hiring and training, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and 1-3 years retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers.
• Proven leadership to motivate and maintain staff and manage reports and goals

Responsibilities

• Assist Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and top service to customers.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Grocery team.
• Unload and sort deliveries.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to store success.
