Job summary

Harris Teeter is hiring an Assistant Grocery Manager in Greer, South Carolina. You will supervise up to 25 associates in the Grocery Department and possibly oversee HBC/GM as assigned, guiding daily operations, training, and performance evaluations.

You will lead with Harris Teeter values, support customer service excellence, and partner with the Grocery Manager to meet store goals. This role requires strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 2–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Completed company training including but not limited to new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
