Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Store Leader to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day store operations. You will mentor staff, drive customer service and sales, manage staffing and promotions, and ensure training and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas are helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members daily.
• Mentor and coach staff to meet service and sales goals.
• Staffing, hiring, and succession planning.
• Manage disciplinary actions and promotions as needed.
• Oversee P&L, sales, and shrink for the department.
• Ensure training completion and adherence to standards.
• Maintain store appearance and prime shopping hours.
