Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Assistant Grocery Manager - DLT to help oversee the Grocery Department, with potential duties in HBC/GM. You will supervise up to 25 associates, support store goals, enforce safety and quality standards, and participate in interviewing and training.

This role reports to the Grocery Manager and works at retail store locations. Location includes California and Maryland stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or two to three years related experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing and training associates.
• Planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Assist in appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates.
