Job summary

ShopRite of Manchester is seeking a Grocery Manager to direct and supervise all functions of the Grocery Department. You will drive sales, profit, customer experience, and associate engagement under the direction of the General Store Manager.

Responsibilities include training associates, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining stock, pricing, and displays while delivering exceptional service to customers in a fast-paced environment in Manchester, CT.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Grocery Department to achieve goals.
• Lead Associates to achieve department goals and provide training and feedback.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the department.
• Provide courteous service to customers and promote promotions.
• Ensure pricing, stock, and displays are accurate and well-presented.
