Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is seeking a Coordinator to lead daily department operations, staff scheduling, and customer service excellence. You will manage ordering, receiving, stocking, and presenting products to maximize profits while maintaining food safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1 year of management experience and 2–3 years of retail experience, with a willingness to develop within a fast-growing organic-focused grocery brand. Strong leadership and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience preferred.
• One year of management experience required.
• Previous experience in natural foods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling, staffing, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Support promotion decisions and career development.
• Ensure safety and adherence to food safety processes.
• Meet or exceed sales, labor and margin goals for the department.
• Train and mentor department team members in all aspects of their jobs.
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
