Job Description:
Perform and report Grinding Utility operational activity to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
Shift: Night Shift: 2,2,3 Shift - 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Food Prep systems in accordance with Royal Canin Operating Procedures, maintaining safety, productivity, and efficiency.
- Perform Food Prep activities based on production schedules and requirements.
- Conduct Quality Control checks and analyses on incoming materials as per Royal Canin Quality Procedures.
- Perform routine inventories of raw materials.
- Prepare and receive delivery equipment for raw materials.
- Unload raw materials and supplies from delivery trucks.
- Enter and report material receiving and storage data as required.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Document Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation activities following procedures.
- Assist in other production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality activities as directed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to optimize quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Comply with all Royal Canin Quality Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Adhere to safety requirements and sanitation procedures.
- Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks per Food Safety and Sanitation Program.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Stand on concrete floors; wear proper PPE; perform bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
- Adapt to environmental extremes such as hot, cold, dust, dirt, and chemicals.
- Maintain vision corrected to 20/20.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in English (speaking and writing).
- Competent in computer use, MS Office, and email.
- Willing to work rotating shifts.
- Manufacturing experience required.
