Job summary

AZEK Exteriors Wilmington division seeks a Grinder Operator for the Rail Plant on Day Shift. The Grinder Operator removes scrap from production lines and runs material through grinding equipment for reuse in the manufacturing process.

Reports to Production Supervisor and adheres to safety and quality standards. The role involves maintaining the dust collection system, supplying regrind to blending lines, and handling materials with forklift safety checks at shift start.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to perform physical demands: push/pull/lift 10–100 lbs.
• Must stand for complete shift; kneeling, lifting overhead, bending, climbing and crawling; tolerate hot temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Fills hopper with sorted material to be ground.
• Changes dust collection bags for the extrusion area.
• Separates scrap and regrind by color and identifies with a tag.
• Gives production support in staging bins, skids, and regrind.
• Operates forklift with safe procedures and performs daily maintenance checks.
• Informs Maintenance or Supervisor of any equipment problems.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as needed by supervision/management.

PAY - $21.50 to $24.00 per hour!

Hours: 6:45AM to 7PM on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule!

This position is eligible for a $3,000 Bonus!

$1,500 at 3 Months!

$1,500 at 6 Months!

Job Summary

The AZEK Company/TimberTech Wilmington division is seeking a Grinder Operator for the Rail Plant for Day Shift. The Grinder Operator is responsible for the removal of all scrap material from production lines and running it through grinding equipment for reuse into the manufacturing process. The Grinder Operator ensures dust collection system emptied as required and regrind / blending lines are supplied with regrind material. Core Responsibilities

• Contributes to accident free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
• Fills hopper with sorted material to be ground.
• Changes dust collection bags from all collection systems for the extrusion area.
• Separates scrap and regrind by color and performs proper identification by use of a tag
• Gives production support in the staging of bins, skids, and regrind for use.
• Uses safe operating procedures while operating forklift. Performs daily maintenance check on forklift at the beginning of each shift before use.
• Informs Maintenance or Supervisor of any problems with grinding equipment.
• Understand and follow all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.

Education Requirements
