Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a production worker to operate grinders and manage part feeding at our North Brunswick, NJ site. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and a focus on safety and quality while maintaining a steady work pace.

Responsibilities include unjamming grinders, removing weather stripping, performing housekeeping, and assisting the supervisor with additional tasks as needed. This is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Safety and quality conscious.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent attendance – willing and able to work overtime.
• Good arithmetic and mechanical skills; familiarity with a computer screen.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Desire to teach and learn in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating material handling equipment for grinders.
• Feeding parts into the grinder at a constant pace.
• Unjamming grinder/pulverizer when needed.
• Removing weather stripping from parts.
• Follow housekeeping practices.
• Processing drop-off vinyl pieces to feed grinder.
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
