Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in North Brunswick Township, NJ is seeking a saw operator to accurately cut vinyl profiles to specified dimensions using industrial saw equipment. You will perform welding-related setup, measure precisely, and ensure product quality while working with a team on a full-time production line.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long shifts. The position offers onsite work with competitive pay and benefits, plus opportunities for cross-training

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or saw operation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to manually construct window units.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications.
• Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards.
• Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques.
• Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO).
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.
• Work in other areas where required.
