Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Regrind Production Associate for the 1st shift. In a fast-paced manufacturing environment you will feed parts into the grinder, remove weather stripping, and help process drop-off vinyl pieces.

This role requires safety and quality focus, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, good arithmetic and mechanical skills, and a cooperative team attitude. Full-time benefits start day one, including medical, dental and vision, PTO, 401(k), and training

Responsibilities

• Feed parts into grinder at a steady pace.
• Remove weather stripping from parts.
• Process drop-off vinyl pieces to feed grinder.
• Obtain Ply Gem forklift permit or have ability to obtain.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

• Working at constant pace feeding parts into grinder
• Removing weather stripping from parts
• Processing drop-off vinyl pieces to feed grinder
• Have or be able to obtain valid Ply Gem forklift permit
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Safety and Quality conscious
• Excellent attendance - willing and able to work overtime
• Good arithmetic and mechanical skills
• Works well with others in a team environment
• Desire to teach and learn in a changing environment
