Job summary

Pollo Tropical in Miami Beach is seeking team members to deliver fast, friendly service while preparing and serving food and beverages in a clean, Caribbean-inspired setting.

The role supports dining room and kitchen operations, with responsibilities ranging from greeting guests to cash handling and ongoing cleanliness. Training is provided for point-of-sale systems and food preparation tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to greet customers and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math for cash handling and making change.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers.
• Place customer orders verbally or via systems.
• Relay orders from service counter to kitchen operations.
• Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment.
• Stock kitchen and service areas with needed supplies.
• Fill customer food and beverage orders as part of coordinated operations.
• Collect payments and provide correct change.
• Unload deliveries of food, beverages and related materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas; follow safety procedures.
• Observe alcohol laws where applicable and maintain safety.
