BurgerFi is hiring a Cook to ensure the orderly and accurate preparation of quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will prepare fried and grilled items, maintain proper portion sizes, and uphold health and sanitation standards.

The role requires following standard procedures, stocking line stations, and assisting with opening/closing duties as needed. A professional appearance and teamwork are essential in this independently owned BurgerFi franchise.

Qualifications

• Follow standard portion sizes and cooking methods.
• Maintain health department standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Stock and maintain line stations to ensure smooth service.
• Follow policies, procedures and kitchen rules consistently.

Responsibilities

• Cook fried items as needed.
• Cook grilled items as needed.
• Assumes responsibility for quality of products prepared and served.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food at line stations for smooth service.
• Portion foods according to standard sizes and recipes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, counters and floors.
• Keep kitchen to Health Department standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Handle, store and rotate all products properly (FIFO).
• Performs other duties as assigned by Burgermeister or owner.
• Assist others in operating and closing/opening
• Presents a clean-cut, neat and professional image.
