Job Summary

We are seeking a Grill Cook to join our team at our new location in Valpo, IN. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of previous grill experience in a high-volume, upscale environment. You will be responsible for preparing delicious meals using high-quality ingredients, ensuring an excellent experience for our patrons. Passion for creating meals that impress is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
  2. Stock ingredients and supplies, prepare meal components, and maintain a clean work area.
  3. Prepare food promptly according to recipes.
  4. Manage inventory levels and restock as needed.
  5. Follow all food safety regulations.
  6. Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or management.
  8. Adhere to company policies regarding ethics and integrity.
Qualifications:
  • At least two years of grill experience in a high-volume, upscale setting.
  • Experience with restaurant opening is preferred.
  • Serve Safe or Food Handler’s Certification.
  • Knowledge of upscale culinary techniques and recipes.
  • Ability to stay calm and perform under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
