Job summary

Das Dutchman Essenhaus is hiring part-time and full-time kitchen staff. No experience required — training will be provided. Pay is $15.00/hour. Flexible schedules, Sundays off, and opportunities for advancement are highlighted in the listing.

You’ll work in a busy kitchen, prepare and plate meals quickly, and maintain sanitation standards while supporting a team-based environment. Shifts start early and end late, with Saturday work required.

Responsibilities

• Cook food on flat-top grill, foreman and fryer
• Prepare, portion and plate food quickly
• Ensure orders are accurate and show good presentation and consistent quality
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and assist others in maintaining theirs
• Perform established temperature checks
• Adhere to health and sanitation guidelines
• Follow established recipes to prepare products
• Meet catering order deadlines
• Complete additional projects as assigned
• Work in a noisy, hot, fast-paced environment
• Be mobile during shift

Pay:$15.00/hour

Job Type

1. Part-time hours:1-4 days/35 hours or less per week
2. Full and part-time positions available for your work-life balance
3. Shift start/end times are flexible
4. We open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.Opening team members can expect to report to work by 6:00 a.m. and closing team members can expect to work up to two hours past closing time.
5. REQUIRED:Three Saturdays per month; you select the Saturday with the exception of blocked-out Saturdays that must be worked.
