Job summary

1898 & Co., a part of Burns & McDonnell, seeks an Enterprise System Integration professional to modernize grid and OT platforms within utility environments in the US. You will configure, test, and deploy grid management systems such as SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS while ensuring data integrity and operational usability.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to work on multiple projects on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Enterprise system implementation experience.
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• On-site work environment capability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical consulting and system integration activities for grid and OT platforms.
• Configure, test, and support deployment of grid management systems (SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, DERMS).
• Implement and validate advanced distribution applications (power flow, state estimation, FLISR, VVO, DER integration).
• Perform system configuration, parameter tuning, and data validation for reliability and usability.
• Analyze OT data and workflows to identify issues and support optimization.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and cutover activities including functional/integration testing and defect remediation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (configuration guides, test scripts, interface docs).
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and project managers to ensure alignment with standards.
