Job summary

1898 & Co. in Kansas City, MO seeks a Consultant - Grid Systems to deliver hands-on system integration for electric utility OT environments. You will configure grid management platforms, validate data, and support go-live activities.

As part of the Enterprise System Integration team, you’ll work with architects and cybersecurity specialists to ensure secure, compliant deployments while communicating progress to stakeholders and adapting to evolving project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Demonstrated enterprise system implementation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and support deployment of grid management systems (SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, DERMS).
• Implement and validate advanced distribution applications including power flow and state estimation.
• Perform system configuration, data validation, and parameter tuning.
• Analyze OT data and workflows to identify issues and optimize performance.
• Conduct functional and integration testing, triage defects, and support go-live.
