Job summary

1898 & Co. in the US Midwest is seeking a Client Engagement Director for Grid Systems Consulting to partner with electric utilities, shaping consulting and implementation opportunities across SCADA, EMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS platforms.

You will lead client relationships, position services, and coordinate across delivery teams to drive grid modernization and operational transformation. A deep OT and grid domain background is essential, with strong executive communication.

Qualifications

Ten (10) years of experience supporting Grid Systems and OT platforms.
Experience with major Grid Systems providers.
Ability to engage executives and stakeholders.
Proven track record in grid modernization programs.
Strong communication and proposal development.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with electric utility clients focusing on grid operations.
Lead sales lifecycle from discovery to contract execution.
Position Grid Systems services and pursue new opportunities.
Collaborate with delivery teams to shape scope and staffing.
Lead executive-level discussions on grid systems strategies.
Ensure alignment of solutions with client objectives and delivery capabilities.
Mentor staff and support recruitment.
