Job summary

GE Vernova’s Grid Systems Integration seeks a Lead Project Manager to drive complex substation projects to delivery. You’ll coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

You will provide structured governance, reliable reporting, risk visibility, and timely escalation of issues, while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project objectives on time and within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience on substations/grid projects.
• Experience leading multi-workstream projects with schedule, cost, and quality oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of large, complex substation projects with integrated delivery plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning workstreams.
• Provide governance, reporting, risk visibility, and issue escalation to leadership.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety to contractual commitments.
• Lead customer and internal stakeholder communications and meetings.
• Monitor performance against metrics and drive on-time delivery.
• Support change management, scope changes, and recovery actions as needed.
• Oversee closing activities, lessons learned, and transition to warranty or service.
