Job summary

Prologis is seeking an Interconnection Manager to advance energy infrastructure across its real estate platform, focusing on utility-scale storage, on-prem generation, and energy solutions for hyperscale and edge data centers.

You will own the full lifecycle of interconnection—from site diligence and queue strategy to applications and agreements—working with internal teams and external utilities/ISOs. The role demands strategic insight and hands-on execution across markets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in interconnection, grid integration, utility coordination, or energy infrastructure development.
• Experience evaluating both utility-scale and distributed energy site locations based on power availability and financial due diligence.
• Prior interconnection experience in key markets (CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, SPP and MISO) and experience working with grid operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection strategy and execution across utility and ISO/RTO markets for utility-scale storage and on-prem power infrastructure.
• Own interconnection queue positions, financial postings, and study outcomes; interpret study results to support decisions.
• Review interconnection applications, studies, deposits, and agreements with utilities and ISOs to ensure compliance and schedule certainty.
• Coordinate interconnection planning for hyperscale data center co-location, micro and edge data centers, and energy-intensive uses.
• Align interconnection timelines with permitting, construction readiness, and customer delivery requirements.
• Negotiate and execute interconnection agreements and amendments with external parties.
• Communicate interconnection risks, dependencies, and schedule impacts to senior leadership.
