Job summary

Prologis is seeking an Interconnection Manager to lead grid interconnection strategy across a nationwide portfolio, including energy storage and on-prem energy systems. You will own the full lifecycle from site diligence to agreement negotiations, coordinating with development, M&A, and external utilities, while leveraging automation and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed.

The role requires 7+ years in interconnection, strong market knowledge, and excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in interconnection, grid integration, utility coordination, or energy infrastructure development.
• Experience evaluating utility-scale and distributed energy sites based on power availability and financial due diligence.
• Interconnection experience in CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, SPP and MISO with grid operator collaboration.
• Strong understanding of utility and ISO interconnection processes and study phases.
• Experience negotiating and executing interconnection agreements.
• Ability to manage multi-project portfolios with financial and schedule risk.
• Proven cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication to translate technical outcomes into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection strategy and execution across utility and ISO markets.
• Serve as primary owner of interconnection queue positions, postings, and study outcomes.
• Provide technical review on interconnection applications, studies, deposits, and agreements.
• Partner with Global Head of Utility Strategy for hyperscale data center interconnection planning.
• Coordinate with commercial, development, and delivery teams to align timelines with permitting and construction.
• Collaborate with Legal on negotiation and execution of interconnection agreements.
• Communicate interconnection risks and schedule impacts to senior leadership.
