Job summary

Hoosier Energy is expanding its System Operations team and seeks four System Control Supervisors to join our 24/7 Control Center. You will monitor and direct real-time transmission and generation operations, coordinate with Member Systems, ISOs, and Reliability Coordinators to maintain BES integrity.

In this role, you will use EMS/SCADA to inform critical decisions, ensure safe and reliable operation, and support continuing professional development including maintaining NERC certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field is required.
• NERC Certified System Operator certification required.
• Two years’ experience in generation and transmission operations or power system control required.
• Two years’ experience in electrical system operations required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NERC and RRO operating standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate actions with interconnected utilities and ISOs.
• Analyze interchange and generation data; prepare reports as needed.
• Develop switching instructions and ensure proper execution.
