Pedernales Electric Cooperative is seeking a skilled operator to coordinate switching and tagging, monitor the electric distribution system, and issue clearances for field personnel. You will work with dispatchers, engineers, and crews to ensure reliable restoration during outages and system disturbances.

The role requires knowledge of SCADA, electrical switching, and safety procedures, with a focus on accurate reporting and adherence to NERC policies.

Qualificações

• Associate’s Degree or related technical field required.
• Three years of directly related experience preferred.
• Directly related work experience may substitute for education.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, direct switching and tagging for field personnel.
• Monitor loads, emergency restoration and reporting for the distribution system.
• Serve as switching authority as assigned by supervisor.
