• Develop business cases for offering developments, maintenance, and cost reduction.
• Follow warranty cases and quality cost drivers for the offering.
• Collect standards and customer needs to feed product roadmap.
• Support global Product Specialist Leader in development projects or offering transfers.
• Prepare offering market communication materials and support new launches.

This position reports to:

Product Specialist Lead

The work model for the role is: Onsite in Pinetops, NC. Some hybrid opportunities in the future.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for Outdoor Products, including cutouts, switches, fuses, and VersaRupter.
• Understands and follows global or assigned area standards, market and customer requirements, and their impact on the offering portfolio.
• Conducts valuation of market size and trends and competitor analyses including identification of offering gaps and evaluates ABB's position.
• Ensures whether technical solutions can be used across the product group's offering portfolio to the maximum possible extent.
• Manages the technical specification of the product(s) assigned and supports the Product Specialist Leader in developing the business case on offering developments, maintenance, and cost reduction.
• Follows major warranty cases and quality cost drivers for the assigned offering and ensures quick resolution.
• Collects and analyses standards, market requirements, and customer needs and values as inputs for developing a product roadmap.
• Supports the global Product Specialist Leader in creating business case for development projects or offering transfers.
• Prepares offering market communication materials, including support for new offering launches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2+ years of experience in related field is required.
• Expertise in product support and customer-facing positions.
• Experience with quotes, proposals, and resolving issues related to customer concerns.
• Well-versed experience with SAP, Excel, and MRP systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
