ABB is seeking a Tender / Quotation Specialist focused on Low Voltage Motor Control Centers to create bids, estimates, and quotations based on customer specs to win profitable deals. The role supports North America's Low Voltage MCC product line within ABB Electrification's Distribution Solutions, with a hybrid work model preferably at Houston, TX or Mebane, NC.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, sales, quotations, proposals, or manufacturing.
• Proficient with ANSI/IEC low voltage switchgear and/or motor control centers OR experience in packaging, services, electrification, or distribution systems.
• Proficient with MS Word, AutoCAD, Excel and SharePoint.
• Prior proposals experience is highly preferred.
• Programming skills (Macros, Java, PowerApps, etc.) is a plus.

This position reports to:

EL Sales Support Manager

As the Tender / Quotation Specialist focusing on Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical, cost elements, and commercial data.

The work model for the role is hybrid, preferably at the Houston, TX ABB Facility, or the Mebane, NC manufacturing plant.

This role supports the Low Voltage Motor Control Center product line within ABB Electrification's Distribution Solutions business across North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Must possess technical background within ANSI/IEC low voltage switchgears and/or motor control centers OR experience in packaging, services, electrification, or distribution systems.
• Proficient with MS Word, AutoCAD, Excel and SharePoint.
• Prior proposals experience is highly preferred.
• Programming skills (Macros, Java, PowerApps, etc.) is a plus.
• Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
