Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta is seeking a friendly Hosts/Greeters to welcome guests at Spaceman Lounge and oversee reservations, ensuring a polished first impression and smooth seating. You will be the first contact for guests and influence their dining experience.

Ideal candidates have previous host/greeter experience, strong verbal communication, and comfort with reservation systems like SevenRooms, OpenTable, or Resy.

Hosts/Greeters are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for the restaurant guests for our Spaceman Lounge. These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations and informing guests of any specialty information. Additionally, Hosts/Greeters may be the final point of contact and must ensure overall guest satisfaction. This role will be responsible for overseeing the venue's reservation systems, including taking, modifying and canceling reservations. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, problem solving and troubleshooting guest concerns, maintaining a quality overall experience, including ambiance, music, and professionalism.

If you have worked as a restaurant host or restaurant hostess, your skills are invaluable to the position of Greeter at Hyatt.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as Restaurant Host/Greeter preferred
• Experience with reservations systems (SevenRooms, OpenTable, Resy, Etc.)
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum amount of weight (about10 pounds)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
