Job summary

Hyatt Regency Columbus is seeking a Server Assistant to support our food and beverage team in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will help with guest experience by refilling waters, clearing dishes, resetting tables, and assisting with side work, including serving to-go items at Market Stand Café during peak periods.

A true team player with a positive attitude, you must be able to stand long hours, lift up to 20 pounds, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays (6am–2pm).

Qualifications

• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to stand long periods with continuous walking.
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to carry items up to 20 pounds and serve on a tray.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (6am–2pm).

Responsibilities

• Provide general food & beverage support to the team and guests.

What does the ROLE entail?

• This role provides general food & beverage support to the team and by extension our guests
• This role assists with the guest experience by refilling waters, clearing dishes, and resetting tables, assist in assigned side work duties
• Responsible for delivering finished food products and accompanying to-go service items as necessary, to guests in Market Stand Café during peak periods
• This role may serve as host/greeter for the restaurant as needed for coverage
• Fast-paced environment with constant customer interaction

Qualifications

Your EXPERIENCE:

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

Ability to stand for long periods of time with continuous walking

Detailed individual with the ability to multi-task

Ability to multi-task and carry/lift items weighing up to 20 pounds

Ability to carry a large serving tray

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays. Typical schedule is 6am to 2pm
