Job summary

Shadow Hills Golf Club in Indio, CA is seeking a full-time Greenskeeper to support our golf course operations and player experience. You will maintain course conditioning, assist with landscapes, and grow your knowledge within Troon, a global leader in golf management.

The position offers hourly pay of $16.90 to $18.90 and benefits including healthcare, 401(k) with employer match, and paid time off. Strong organization and teamwork are essential to succeed.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
• Must be dependable

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees, and other areas
• Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base; lays sod and seeds greens, tees, and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Shadow Hills Golf Club, located in Indio, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay:

$16.90 - $18.90 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
