Job summary

Arizona National Golf Club in Tucson, AZ is hiring a part-time Greenskeeper I to maintain the course and support member experiences while growing knowledge of golf operations. As an associate of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management, you will perform landscape maintenance, rake bunkers, operate small machinery, prep soil beds, and assist with course setup.

Commitment to safety and reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications

• One month related experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper I:

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).

Minimum Qualifications for the Greenskeeper I:
