Job summary

San Pedro Golf Course in Benson, AZ is seeking a part-time Greenskeeper to maintain greens, tees, fairways, and surrounding areas, ensuring a positive experience for members and guests.

As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf management, with opportunities to grow knowledge of course operations while working flexible hours, including seasonal peaks. Valid driver’s license and hardworking attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience preferred, not required
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. Schedule

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed. We start early and get off early.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility

Education and Experience Requirements

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
