Job summary

Sprout in Garland, Texas, is hiring for an ITAD/electronics recycling role. The candidate will sort and evaluate electronic equipment, perform data erasure, and de-manufacture items while maintaining accurate records and safe, efficient workflows.

Required are 2+ years in ITAD or related fields, familiarity with testing tools, and a HS diploma. Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+ are preferred; lifting up to 50 lbs is expected in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+ or similar) preferred.
• Lean training/certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sort and evaluate electronic equipment such as CPUs, GPUs, RAM, HDDs, SSDs and mobile devices.
• Maintain accurate records of materials using scan guns and manual entry systems.
• Conduct testing of electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Perform data erasure following standardized protocols with zero data escapes.
• Disassemble (harvest) electronics into components per industry guidelines.
• Ensure precise inventory tracking and workspace management.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow health and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with team members for smooth workflow transitions.
