Job summary

City of Atlanta is seeking an entry- to junior-level Project Coordinator to support the Office of Watershed Protection with planning and execution of green infrastructure projects and stream restoration initiatives.

You will assist in community outreach, regulatory reporting, and grant research while applying knowledge across environmental science, ecology, engineering, and urban design to support watershed protection efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, landscape architecture or related field.
• Experience or coursework in water quality, stormwater management, or green infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to prepare reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate green infrastructure and stream restoration projects with project teams.
• Identify grant opportunities and assist with grant applications.
• Gather and update community outreach materials for stakeholders.
• Prepare external communications with the Office of Communications & Community Relations.
• Support regulatory compliance data collection and tracking for watershed programs.
